Tucked away down one of Stroud High Street’s narrow side lanes, The Retreat, Stroud offers laid-back light lunches by day and is one of Stroud’s best-loved pubs by night. We are passionate about sourcing and serving food from the best produce in the Cotswolds alongside real ales, fine wines and cocktails. We take great pride in our lunch menu, creating delicious cafe-style dishes from seasonal local produce. Our menu includes vibrant salads and sandwiches as well as more hearty meals.

COFFEE & BREAKFAST
On Saturdays we open early for coffee, pastries and breakfast bites. If you’re exploring Stroud Farmers’ Market, it’s the perfect pit stop away from the crowds. We know pubs don’t always make good coffee but we do! We’re barista trained and use the best speciality coffee from Roundhill Roastery in Somerset.
